it resonates so deeply as what I can see in front of me seems broken, moving in a different direction and I notice the voices of old patterns of disengagement with reality as a balm. what’s actually true right now is being with what is in my body compassionately, receiving the breath and being tender with myself. all while still seeing that this is just a perception of reality that invited me to be with my body. nothing is actually broken, the river is still moving towards my North Star. this is my deeper practice of faith, hope and love.
wow wow, yes, Crystal! I paused when you said, "what's actually true right now is being with what is in my body compassionately." yes to the presence and to seeing what we once perceived as broken actually transform right before our eyes.
I really appreciated this post and will be thinking on this for a while.
Thank you for reading, Ruth. If you want to share what you're thinking about, I'd be thrilled to read what's on your mind. - Bethaney
