Hello friends,

I wrote today’s post a couple of weeks ago. We were moving through different, though still chaotic, political waters at that time. Today’s post doesn’t speak directly to any current event, but I hope the reflections and the practice below are gentle, nourishing invitations to support you and your body as we move through these time. Much love.

Many of us have heard “our bodies keep the score.”

This is true1. I would add that our bodies also keep the wisdom, specifically the wisdom we need to move towards healing, slowness, and connection.

I’ve been writing A More Beautiful Way, the book, and my most recent chapter is on the contemplative practice of embodiment. It’s weird to write about embodiment because it’s not an idea to think about, but rather a practice to do.
