The past few weeks have been a whirlwind, and not the glorious kind.
In between a deer hitting my car and persistent dental pain, life has required a different sort of attention from me.
Someone recently asked me, “What in your life makes you slow down? What supports your desire to live more slowly?”
My first thought was my husband, Alex, whose pace is much different than my own. His way of moving in the world often invites me to be more present to whatever is right in front of me. But the second response that came to mind startled me a bit.
