Written on the Body with Tiffany Clarke Harrison
A More Beautiful Way Creative Conversation
Written on the Body with Tiffany Clarke Harrison
Are you familiar with the voice of your body? What would it look like to follow your body’s wisdom for an entire day? How might you, your art, and your relationship to others and yourself transform?
In this conversation, I had the joy of sitting down with author and writing coach Tiffany Clarke Harrison from Rochelle Writers Studio. She tells the story of how grappling with a chronic illness set her life, her body, and her creative work on an entirely new trajectory. She shares insights into how writers and creatives can come home to their bodies as an anchor for expression, and she offers insight to how those of us who feel unsafe in our bodies can begin finding our way back to ourselves.
Tiffany Clarke Harrison is an author, speaker, Author Mentor, and founder of Rochelle Writers Studio, a collective for authors of fiction & memoir. She leads with a feelings first, logic later approach to writing and life, and helps authors write their best damn books using intuition and psychology. With a mix of unconventional practices and traditional writing tools, writers find the clarity and strength needed to write the draft worth fighting for. Tiffany is represented by Dystel, Goderich & Bourret, and her novel BLUE HOUR will be released in April 2023 by Soft Skull Press.
