Ha! True. Though many people confuse ragweed for goldenrod. Ragweed is what most folks are allergic to, and goldenrod gets blamed for the allergies ragweed causes. Some even call it “the goldenrod allergen myth” since ragweed and goldenrod tend to blossom around the same time and both have yellow blossoms.

I’ve been blessed to be allergic to both. Ragweed causes sinus issues and goldenrod - allergic dermatitis. My dog too.

The dog takes Zyrtec and Apoquel. I take Zyrtec, Flonase, and pataday eye drops. And I don’t weed anything in the fall!
